Rhema Vaithianathan

Rhema Vaithianathan is a Professor in Health Economics, and the Director of the Centre for Social Data Analytics, at Auckland University of Technology (AUT). She specialises in the use of integrated administrative data with machine learning tools in health and human services including child welfare and homelessness.
Rhema’s work is focussed on translational research and she led the development and deployment of the Allegheny Family Screening Tool, one of the first uses of predictive risk models in Child Welfare.
