Laura Kranz is currently a PhD candidate in Psychology at Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington. Her PhD research is a collaboration between the School of Science in Society and the School of Psychology. In her research, she uses tools and methodologies from cognitive psychology to examine questions and issues relevant to the field of science communication. Laura is particularly interested in how different factors – such as trust in science – impacts how people interact with, and believe, information.
