Julia Talbot-Jones

Julia Talbot-Jones is an environmental and institutional economist in the School of Government at Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington. Her research investigates how social arrangements or structures, what economists call institutions, can solve environmental and natural resource problems over time.
Her transdisciplinary research builds on insights from her academic training in economics, ecology, and natural resource management. Julia leads the freshwater program at Motu Economic and Public Policy Research.
