Jessica is pursuing a PhD at the Centre for Science and Society, Victoria University of Wellington. Her research explores the evaluation of science communication and investigates how the practice of evaluation might be made more practical and accessible to practitioners of science communication in Aotearoa New Zealand. Jessica is originally from Seattle, USA. Before moving to New Zealand in 2020, she worked for five years as a community manager for an interdisciplinary and international Arctic research community.
