Neil is a PhD student in the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Auckland. He is interested in invertebrate biology and insects as a source of food. Neil obtained his MSc at the University of Auckland with his research focuses on the biology of black soldier fly, a species of fly that is of commercial interest around the world for its ability to convert organic waste into protein for animal feed.
