Bethany is a PhD student in the School of Environment at Waipapa Taumata Rau the University of Auckland. With a background in human geography, her current research focuses on the practices and experiences of ‘kindness’ and ‘care’ in Aotearoa’s research system. She is interested in care ethics, equity, education and how we can work towards making Aotearoa’s research environment more equitable and just.
